Did the “Fix and Foxi” publisher Rolf Kauka work for the BND?

Comic book publisher Rolf Kauka was considered the German Walt Disney. He had close ties to the Federal Intelligence Service. "Bild" author Hans-Wilhelm Saure wants to see the BND files. He is now suing for his access.
The last regular issue of the comic "Fix and Foxi" was published in 2010. Previously, neither a reorientation of content nor a change of publisher or frequency had been able to halt the decline in circulation. The twin foxes Fix and Foxi were invented in 1953 by the German publisher Rolf Kauka. Kauka was a colorful figure. He is described as eccentric and visionary, but also narcissistic. Born in Saxony in 1917, he was a member of the Hitler Youth and participated in the Russian campaign as a soldier.
